Hyperlocal Trips is a collection of extraordinary trips- uniquely curated by our family of tastemakers and travel designers. For over two years, we have arranged trips in over 100 destinations for our community of curious and aspirational travellers. We currently have three types of trips:
1. Original: We have designed special group trips that go beyond the mainstream- perfect for those seeking to travel with other like-minded people and immerse in unique global topics like arts, design, culture, sports, and many more. Explore now
2. Essential: Think of exploring the 7 Wonders, getting lost in Tokyo's food scene, or a trip to Paris. We package unbeatable travel deals with curated itineraries- with customizable number of travellers, dates, and accommodation type. Explore now
3. Bespoke: Come with your wildest travel ideas, and leave all the planning to us. Our Bespoke travel designers are specialized in full-service travel arrangements- like a honeymoon in the Pacific, to sporting events like the F1 and Rolland Garros. Explore now
Activities
The activities in our Original Trips are hosted by a community of tastemakers- chefs, artists, entrepreneurs, and other topic experts who are truly passionate about travel and showing the world what they do.
Logistics
Hyperlocal works with award-winning travel specialists and tour operators to organize the complex logistics of our trips to ensure high level of quality, comfort, safety, and secure the lowest rates in the entire trip planning.
Inclusions vary for every trip. Please check the trip details and itineraries for the full-list of what's included. In most cases, our trips will include accommodation, transfer, activities, and food. Unless otherwise noted, international flights and insurance are excluded in all of our trips. Please contact us if you require further details.
Book with confidence. We work with a third-party bank to safely handle payments and refunds. Please note that different trips, may have different payment options. Depending on how early in advance you make the booking, in most cases you'll have three options to pay for Hyperlocal Trips:
1. Pay in full.
2. Pay a small deposit and the rest later.
3. Pay with a payment plan. More info on payment can be found here.
We acknowledge that your plans may be subject to change, which is why we provide the following cancellation policy. A cancellation is considered effective when we receive written confirmation of the cancellation via email at booking@hyperlocaltrips.com.
If you cancel a trip, the following cancellation fees will apply based on the date we receive your written confirmation:
91 days or more before departure: 25% of the trip cost is non-refundable. Any additional amount paid will be refunded or given as travel credit.
90-30 days before departure: 50% of the trip cost is non-refundable. Any additional amount paid will be refunded or given as travel credit.
30 days or less before departure: No refund is possible.
In the unlikely event Hyperlocal Trips have to cancel a trip, such as (border closures, or issue with a host), we are happy to offer our travellers the following:
Booking Protection
You will have the ability to protect your booking during checkout and request to be reimbursed should they need to cancel if something goes wrong- such as the followings: (i) Unexpected transit delays or strikes. (ii) Injury, illness, or death of customer or member of immediate family. (iii) Customer is required as a carer for another ill or injured ticket holder. (iv) Unexpected deployment as member of the armed forces. (iv) Pregnancy.
Travel Insurance
It is mandatory for all travellers to have a travel insurance that covers the entire duration of a Hyperlocal Trip. Please contact your preferred insurance provider, or book a plan with our partner at WorldNomads.
